Abstract:
A numerical model for the post-fire performance of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel reinforced concrete (SRC) frame structures under fire was proposed. This model was based on beam elements and can include the effects of the heating and cooling phases on the post-fire performance of the frame structures. The model was established by choosing appropriate material constitutive relations in the heating, cooling and post-fire phases, and was realized by programming a UMAT subroutine on the platform of ABAQUS. In the end, the calculation results were compared with the test results of the fire performance of RC frame structures, the post-fire performance of SRC columns and frame structures. The calculation results agree well with the test results, showing that the proposed model is reasonable. © 2016, Editorial Office of Journal of Building Structures. All right reserved.
