Abstract:
The importance of reinforced concrete column components as important load-bearing components in building structures is self-evident. Based on the research objective of evaluating the performance of cumulative damage components, this article conducted experimental research on cumulative damage and residual bearing capacity of reinforced concrete columns. Four reinforced concrete compression and bending column components with a cross-sectional size of 300 mm were analyzed for their mechanical performance degradation after gradually accumulating damage during constant amplitude hysteresis loading, as well as the residual bearing mechanical performance of the damaged components. © 2024 selection and editorial matter, Seyed Mohammadreza Ghadiri and Yan Zhuge: individual chapters, the contributors.
