Abstract:
The municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) process is subject to factors such as strong nonlinearity, changes in working conditions, and difficulty using precise mathematical models to describe complex characteristics, resulting in the fact that traditional PID control cannot effectively control the amount of oxygen content of the flue gas. The oxygen content of the flue gas is one of the key factors in the effect of municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI), and either too high or too low oxygen content will affect whether the incineration and safety production can be effectively carried out. This paper proposes a hybrid intelligent closed-loop control method consisting of four parts: the pre-set module, the oxygen content of the flue gas forecasting model, the forecasting compensator, and the feedback compensator. Finally, the experiments are conducted to us the field operating data from a large MSWI plant. The results showed that, compared with the traditional method, the control accuracy of the oxygen content of the flue gas improved. © 2024 IEEE.
