Abstract:
Electrical signals, acoustic signals and high-speed images of welding contain important information reflecting the stability of welding process and welding quality. The existing research has not realize their real synchronization yet. In this paper, a hardware platform used for arc welding process of electrical, acoustic and image signals synchronization acquisition is designed and built. Through the hardware trigger, the accuracy of the synchronization is guaranteed. Based on the LabVIEW software platform, a synchronous muti-informational acquisition and analysis system about welding electric parameter, acoustic signals and metal transfer images is developed and realize the precise correspondence in time domain. Aiming at hyperbaric welding, a series of test data are acquired and statistically analyzed and the rules of hyperbaric environment's influence on welding current, voltage, arc sound and state of metal transfer are obtained. This research lays a foundation for study on influence factors and mechanism of metal transfer in hyperbaric welding. ©, 2014, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. All right reserved.
