Abstract:

The investment in earthquake disaster prevention is a necessary condition to reduce the loss of earthquake damage, and the investment standard should be the decision result of considering the balance between the goal of earthquake disaster prevention and the interests of the whole society, but there are few studies in the past. Through extensive, representative and authoritative investigation and analysis, this paper obtains the understanding of Chinese professional groups on the acceptability of investment in earthquake protection for typical buildings, and elucidates the influence of earthquake risk areas, types of buildings and fortification targets on investment decisions and its rules. Based on the overall analysis, the recommended investment standard for earthquake disaster prevention of typical buildings is presented, which can be used as reference for formulating relevant policies and regulations and engineering construction. © 2024 Science Press.
