Abstract:

To boost the rationality of the decision-making for the intermodal hub project construction scheduling and maximize the social benefits of the project investment, a method was proposed to optimize the construction scheduling for the intermodal hub planning. The 4 importance indicators including the location importance indicator, the passenger flow importance indicator, the node importance indicator, and the comprehensive importance indicator were defined, and the last indicator is equal to the weighted sum of the former 3 indicators, and it is the key factor to optimize the project construction scheduling of the intermodal hub by the dynamic optimization process. A case study in Beijing City was provided to demonstrate the procedure of the proposed method.
