This　paper　presents　recent　important　advances　in　the　application　of　passive　response　control　technology　for　metal　spatial　structures　in　several　countries.　References　to　recently　implemented　projects　in　Japan,　USA,　China,　and　other　countries　are　provided.　These　structural　systems　are　categorized　and　classified　into　truss,　cable,　and　roof　structures.　Detailed　projects　belonging　to　each　of　these　categories　are　described,　along　with　information　on　the　type　of　devices　and　their　performance.
