Abstract:

According to the structure design requirement of the National Fitness Center in Ejin Horo Banner, Inner Mongolia, the size of the nodal displacement and the stress change of prestressed cable under initial prestressing force and temperature were researched using finite elements method. Rational tensioning temperature and appropriate compensation measures of initial prestressing force loss because of temperature effect were investigated. The influence of the temperature effect was analyzed under initial prestress. The results show that temperature action on the cable dome structure especially the outer cable and strut stress can not be ignored. In the design of tensioned prestress level, not only the different influences of construction temperature and material cutting temperature should be considered respectively, but also the safety of structure under temperature effect should be guaranteed for normal service condition. The impact of temperature effects parameters on the static behavior of cable dome structure is significant.
