Abstract:

Nonlinear estimation method was applied to obtain the characteristic parameters of porous absorbing material, and experimental comparison was performed to validate the method. In the experiment, sound absorption coefficient of some highly porous metallic fibrous samples was measured and considered as responding function to estimate the static flow resistivity. Estimation results agree well with the direct measurement results, so the method is validated.
