Abstract:

With the rapid development of the city, the land utilization becomes diversified and there are more and more forms of mixed use lands. The parking characteristics of mixed-use lands are different from that of the single used lands. Based on the shared parking idea and the parking demand survey of Hua Mao Center in Beijing, this paper analyzes the parking characteristics of the typical mixed-used area and establishes an accumulation parking model and a shared parking model. By comparison, the error of the shared parking model is remarkably smaller than that of the accumulation parking model. The shared parking model is ideal to be used in the parking analysis of the mixed-use lands.
