Abstract:
The receiver, whose heat loss directly affects the conversion of efficiency from optic to thermal, is a key component of the parabolic trough collector. By analyzing the heat loss of 13 m pipeline which is constructed by six two-meter receivers, the results show that the radiant heat loss is 70% to 90% of the total heat loss when oil's temperature from 105°C to 313°C. The heat loss measured by quasi-static equilibrium method is larger than that measured by steady-state equilibrium method, and at high temperature(290°C) the former is 1.18 times as high as the latter. The heat loss is 1.2 times bigger than that of SCHOTT's PTR70. © All Rights Reserved.
