Abstract:

Natural gas is cleaner high-quality energy for its high calorific value and little environmental pollution. Small natural gas liquefaction plant is a considerable interesting in the world. Based on the constraints of small natural gas equipment, a small-scale natural gas expansion liquefaction processes is proposed in this paper. The power consumption to liquid one kilo-molar natural gas is used as a system performance evaluation index to analysis and to optimize the liquefaction process. The research results can provide a theoretic guide to establish small-scale natural gas liquefaction facility.
