Abstract:
Lithium ion transfered into organic phase from exchanged mother liquids of Li-LSX zeolite after extraction by tri-n-butyl phosphate (TPB). In this article, the anti-extraction of lithium ion from TBP by hydrochloric acid was studied. And the effects of phase ratio, hydrochloric acid concentration and temperature on the anti-extraction technology were analyzed in details. The optimal anti-extraction conditions are found as following: phase ratio is about 1:1; hydrochloric acid concentration is more than 5 mol/L; room temperature. Furthermore, the recycling of extractant and the industrial prospect of this method were investigated preliminarily.
