Abstract:
TiO2 nanotube arrays were quickly synthesized by sonoelectrochemical method in the anodizing solution of 0.5 M H3PO4 and 0.14 M NaF. Self-ordered arrays of TiO2 nanotubes can be growth effective by increasing the potential in a certain scale. Compared to 10 V sample, the 20 V sample which gave an average photocurrent density of 5.6 mA/cm2 at zero bias and the photo-voltage of about 0.9 V/SCE with the light source of a 500 W high-pressure mercury lamp had greater photoelectrochemical properties. And the 10 V and 20 V samples showed approximate flat band potential, but the latter exhibited higher photocurrent and larger charge carrier density.
