Abstract:

By traditional sintering process, we studied the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of (CaxSr1-x)2 NaNb5O15 system ceramics (0.02x0.35). The results show that it has better piezoelectric and dielectric properties near x=0.14 and has two phase transition temperature. One is nearly 280C, and the other is nearly -20C. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy show that it is tungsten bronze structure. The replacement of Ca2+ by Sr2+ caused the lattice distortion which results in the enhancement of physical properties. Scanning electron microscope photos show that the system ceramics is very dense. It is a lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with practical prospects.
