Abstract:

The tungsten bronze Ba0.5Sr1.5Na0.6K0.4Nb5O15(BSKNN) ceramics with significantly enhanced piezoelectric constants d15, from 61.6 pC/N to 120.0 pC/N are prepared by CO2laser irradiation. The optimal process parameters are as follows: irradiation power density Pmax= 764.33 W/cm2and irradiation time t = 90 s. The intrinsic reason of the enhancement of the piezoelectric properties is studied by SEM and XRD.
