Abstract:
YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) films with SrZrO3 doping were prepared successfully by a non-vacuum, low cost, and easily scalable metal-organic deposition method, and their microstructures and physical properties were investigated. From the analysis of XRD and φ-scan results, the doped films had sharp biaxial textures. Although the doped YBCO film had a larger ΔTc than that of the un-doped YBCO film, a very significant enhancement of Jc was displayed as compared to the un-doped film with increasing magnetic field and temperature, indicating that an effective pinning force was created by SrZrO3 doping. These results clearly exemplify the appealing application prospects for the doped film in high magnetic fields and temperatures.
