Abstract:

According to the technical features and application architecture for Ambient Intelligence (AmI), the conception of AmI and its research condition is introduced and the main feature is discussed in this paper firstly. Meanwhile, the context-aware AmI prototype (namely AmI Space) based on Multi-Agent architectureis expounded, and the structure and collaborating mechanism for those agents are proposed. It is demonstrated by practice that the MAS-Based architecture fits for the characters of modularization, distribution and complexity owned by the AmI computing units, and a basis for further researching AmI is provided.
