Abstract:

Shield method in subway construction may have the influence or even cause disaster for on adjacent buildings. A section of line No.10 of Beijing subway crossed through the foundation of adjacent buildings. It's very important to analyze and evaluate the deformation of the building in order to protect them. So, based on the detailed study of geological conditions and design parameters, FLAC3D software combined with field monitoring data is used. And then, research on the effect and corresponding deformation character of adjacent building under construction of shield tunneling is presented. The result indicates that numerical simulation is close to the monitoring data, and the effect caused by shield tunneling on the adjacent panel building is little and the construction of tunnel is safe.
