Abstract:

A diagonal bracing frame model was put forward to analyze short pier shear wall with concealed bracings. Geometry characteristic and a parameter defining method were developed for the model and the stiffness matrix was deduced. The reasonable force-displacement relationship of the frame element was selected. Push over analysis using the diagonal bracing frame model was carried out on two short pier shear walls and the calculating results indicate that the model is reasonable.
