Abstract:

Due to the limitation of the shake tables size, the model of traditional earthquake table test did not have the large size. This paper conducted a study on vertical vibration table test of the bi-directional beam string structure of the national gymnasium (plane size of 11.4 m × 14.4 m) by the multiple vibration table array system. The responses and the rules of acceleration, displacement and stress of the structure under the vertical earthquake are gained, which can provide test data and basis to evaluate the seismic performance of national gymnasium roof and can be a reference for seismic analysis of similar structure in future.
