Abstract:
In order to know the influence of factors including ratio and temperature on the effective mechanical properties of CNT/SMP composite, theoretical and numerical methods are adopted to study the changes of the composite in the aspects of the stiffness coefficients, axial orientation modulus and landscape orientation modulus. It is supposed that the inclusion CNT is the transversely isotropic material. SMP is described in a thermodynamics equation. The effective property of the composite is deduced by the method of Mori-Tanaka. It is shown that the main stiffness coefficients increase along with the increasing of ratio and the axial orientation modulus increases more rapidly. When the ratio is a constant, the landscape orientation modulus is lower remarkably when the temperature is higher, but the axial orientation modulus is nearly invariable.
