Abstract:

A real life time dramatic monitoring system is designed in this paper. The force of members and the tension of cables are monitored real-timely by vibratory strain gauge, the displacement of joints are monitored periodically by Total Station Instruments in this monitoring system. The force of the members, tension of cables, displacement of joints are monitored during construction, the data show that the force, displacement and cable tension are all in reasonable range. With the cable tension as the main control parameter and the vertical displacement of joints as the second control parameter and the members' force being taken into account simultaneously, the cable tensioning reach the design requirement. The data drawn form cable tension completion to the construction completion reveal slight increase of the cable force and member force, which proves that the real rigidity is larger than that of design and the exterior load is smaller than that of design, thus the whole structure is safe and the health monitoring system is valid.
