Abstract:

To meet the requirement of high temperature of solar heat transfer and thermal storage, the industrial applications of the high temperature heat transfer materials were introduced and a new kind of high temperature molten salt based on sodium chloride, potassium chloride and magnesium chloride anhydrous was prepared. Thermal properties of the molten salt had been measured by differential scanning calorimeter and the experimental results showed that it was applicable to high temperature storage. DSC analysis showed that the high temperature molten salt had preferable thermal stability and it was one kind of perfect high temperature heat transfer materials.
