Abstract:

In order to overcome the difficulties of the large number of stress constraints and higher cost of calculating the stress sensitivities in the topology optimization with stress constraints, this paper proposes the structural topology optimization ICM method with stress constraints transformed into the integrated one of strain energies. Several classic examples are used to test the method, the results suggest that the method has higher optimization efficiency and optimal structural topologies obtained are more reasonable.
