Abstract:

In order to observe the influence of the random noise of wind velocity, by using a real high-rise building example of wind-structure interaction analysis based on ANSYS, the dynamic response of the high-rise building under the artificial time history of wind velocity is simulated according to power spectra with and without random components and. The comparison of the analytical results shows that the dynamic response of the high-rise building has been enlarged to certain degree if the random components of the input power spectra of wind are considered.
