Abstract:
Lack of interface compatibility, high cost, and high complexity make the network-based intelligent system hard to build and maintain. This paper presents a design idea for the multi-sensor system of the network-based intelligent pro-node, with special emphasis on standardized transducer interface and open network communication. To realize and enhance the field information processing ability of the device, the concept and a prototype of IDP (Intelligent Data Pro-node) are proposed. Based on the IEEE1451 standard, DSP, ARM and HPI communication technology, a network-based intelligent pro-node design is introduced. The Hw/SW structures and the network interface are discussed. To meet the demands of high reliability, networking and intelligence, a multi-parameter IDP is introduced. Experiments show the system is stable and has real time capability.
