Abstract:

A magnetorheological (MR) damper magnetic circuit is designed. In the MR damper the magnet is used to found the magnetic field. When the power supply is invalidated the damping force is the biggest. Adjustable damping force is obtained through adjusting the electric current in the excitation loop. The equivalent magnetic circuit is designed. Through the experiment the properties of the inverse damper are analyzed and the expectant effects are got.
