Abstract:

It is very difficult to use conventional modeling software directly to build a complex excavation engineering model. According to a hillside landscape design example and based on geometric theory, the paper puts forward a method to compute point coordinate of 3D complex model. Then 3D surface of the model is generated and is used to incise the hillside body to get the excavating model. Finally the model is visualized to obtain full 3D effect of the engineering. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
