Abstract:
Networked manufacturing has been greatly promoting the manufacture business, and creating a significant opportunity for developing cloud service of information resource management. Based on the concept of cloud service of information resources, a two-stage matching model in this paper is proposed to deal with the matching problem between supply and demand, which could match possible partners for networked manufacturing enterprises. Firstly, the model was constructed for clustering the characteristics from both sides of supply and demand in order to make matching groups. Then, we adopted a weighted Euclidean distance calculation to calculate the similarity between demand side and supply side, which could find more suitable partners automatically. Finally, a numerical example was presented to test effectiveness and feasibility of the model. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
