Abstract:

The rotary kiln control of cement production is a complicated physical chemistry course of reaction, which has the characteristics of big inertia, pure time-delay and nonlinearity. There is no satisfactory effect controlled by traditional strategy and methods in the system; while single intelligent method is difficult to adapt to the global control for such kind of system. First, the characteristic and application are introduced. Then through the compare between Fieldbus Control System (FCS) and Multi-Agent theory, the comparability on technical characteristic and architectural characteristic could predicate that FCS is the genetic platform of Multi-Agent theory. A three-layer composite Multi-Agent control network used for rotary kiln process control is constructed based on PROFIBUS technology. © 2011 IEEE.
