Abstract:
An electrochemical sensor for DNA hybridization detection using methylene blue (MB) as indicator was developed. CdS nanoparticals were electrodeposited on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). DNA probe and the CdS was linked by cysteine. The electrochemical response of the DNA hybridization was measured by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The difference of the cathodic peak currents of MB after the hybridization of the DNA probe was obvious. In addition, the morphology of the modified electrode was characterized by AFM. © 2011 IEEE.
