Abstract:

Ground subsidence induced by tunnel excavation has a certain influence on surrounding buildings and underground pipelines. Therefore, controlling the deformation of the foundation of the buildings in an allowable range is much important. Based on the comparison of the measured subsidence with the numerical simulation results of 10 typical sections tunneled by TBM in Line 10 in Beijing, the estimate method of calculation parameters and an improved method of numerical simulation are given. Using this method, the deformation regularity of the foundation of the surrounding buildings induced by a tunnel project is studied under the condition of isolated foundation, strip foundation and box foundation respectively. It is found that the scope less than 12m of the distance between building foundation and tunnel axis is severe influence area, 12m to 25m is influence area, more than 25m is slight influence area in Beijing, which provides technological suggestions on judging the level of risk source and the necessity of special evaluation. Then engineering measures for reducing the impact on surrounding environment during subway construction are represented according to those three influence areas. Finally, a typical example of isolation method (diaphragm wall, soldier pile, jet grouting pile and grouting stabilization) for controlling the subsequent settlement of foundation of surrounding building is expounded and the effect is valuated.
