Abstract:

The resource allocation and limited feedback scheme are proposed in multiuser MIMO OFDM systems. The optimization model is to maximize the throughput with minimal and maximal transmit rate constraint of users, which can effectively guarantees the QoS requirment of multimedia traffics. The resource allocation is divided into user selection and power allocation, realizing the optimization separately. On the other hand, to reduce the feedback load, orthogonal random beamforming is used to scale the CDI of users and with the proper thresholds, the necessary quantity of CSI of users having lower correlation with each other will be fed back to support the resource allocation. Simulation results examine the validity of the proposed algorithm, which is effective and practical. © 2010 IEEE.
