Abstract：
In this paper, we make use of informatics-based methods, establishing a calculation technique to measure the utility of a traffic sign＇s information for drivers. Additionally, some simple analyses are carried out to determine the usefulness of certain information for drivers who need different types of information. © 2009 ASCE.
