Abstract:
Nano composite method was used to prepare the radar wave absorbing coatings. Proportions of nano/micron composite particles were calculated. Micron size Fe2O3 and nano PbTiO3 in different contents were chose as the wave absorbing materials, and coatings were made by nano composite processing. The results of reflectivity tests showed that it was advantaged to extend the working band or reduce the peak value of the reflectivity using nano composite coatings at low or middle working band. The frequency at which the reflectivity was below -5dB can reach to 4.3 ∼ 12.9 GHz, working band was 8.6 GHz. Compare with the coatings without nano composite, the wave absorbing ability was enhanced evidently, which showed a new way to increase radar wave absorbing properties of the coatings.
