Abstract:

Based on the practice in interior design industry, this paper studies the latest development of computer graphics in hardware, software and algorithm. With the study on realistic image generation algorithm of computer and real-time rendering technology, this paper uses accelerator engine of NVIDIA company including ray tracing engine OptiX, scene management engine SceniX and physical engine PhysX to design a GPU-based real-time rendering. Then, it chooses the most suitable virtual reality technologies, designs an interior design software system with rapid modeling and real-time high realism roamed function and realizes the design development of system prototype. Finally, we take one home-engineering as an example to test the effect of system application, compare and analyze benefits and effects which are brought by virtual reality technology. © 2019 IEEE.
