Abstract:

Shear walls supported on a frame-shear wall structure form some large spaces on ground floor easily, and satisfy more purposes. But the shear wall supported on the frame-shear wall structure is easy to being weak floor on the ground floor, it goes against seismic action. Through the shaking table test of the model of the shear wall on the frame-shear wall structure with RC dampers and travel-limiting braces and finite element analysis, the response rules of acceleration, displacement and shearing force of energy dissipating frame-shear wall structure are obtained. The results show that the RC dampers have good seismic performance in medium and small earthquakes, the RC dampers dissipate energy and travel-limiting braces prevent collapse of the frame-shear wall structure in strong earthguake.
