Abstract:
In China, the timber structure is the most important architectural form of ancient buildings, but in the renovation of ancient buildings, old timber components were often substituted for new components without enough damaged detection and evaluation. This causes the loss of lots of historical information and authenticity of cultural relics. In this paper, we try toit is tried to establish the correlation between non-destructive testing and mechanical properties of ancients’ timber components, and trough the scientific non-destructive testing and assessment, we can remain ancients’ timber components as far as possible. © 2018 Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association.
