Abstract:

A solar collector is the most important component in a solar-ground source heat pump (SGSHP) system. The collector performance affects the heating load and the coefficient of the heat pump. The heat output performance of a solar collector, which was used for a solar-ground source heat pump with the heating mode, is predicted in this article. The heat pump system can be either a solar-energy source heat pump or a ground source heat pump. Valuable numerical results were obtained in the experimental study of a real SGSHP system.
