Abstract:

The mechanical properly of composite T300/AG80 is tested under room temperature and laser irradiation. The longitudinal and transverse effective elastic module and the tensile and compressible failure strength of the composite are obtained. Laser parameters influencing mechanical property of the also analyzed. The wavelength of continuous wave laser Nd: YAG is 1064nm in the test. Under the different tensile pre-stressing, ablation failure mechanism and trend of mechanical property influenced by intensity of laser are analyzed and the experimental process is recorded by high speed camera. The failure time of the composite under laser irradiation is obtained by numerical simulation and it is considered with that of experimental ones.
