Abstract:

The structure of Dalian Conference Center is composed of some composite core walls with concrete filled steel tube ( CFT) column borders. So one of the key technologies is ensuring the anchorage reliability between the CFT column and the concrete foundation. In this paper, two 1/5 scale specimens of CFT column base embedded in concrete reinforced foundation were made based on engineering structures and tested under uniaxial repeated loading. Through the experiments, the effect of embedded depth on bearing capacity and ductility is studied. Tested results show that increasing embedded depth may effectively improve the anchorage performance of the CFT column base. The construction methods in engineering can meet design requirements, and the anchorage performance is reliable.
