Abstract:

Bulk nanocrystalline SmCoCuFeZr sintered magnet was prepared by Spark Plasma Sintering technique (SPS), Structure and magnetic properties of the magnet were studied. XRD patterns show that the magnet exhibits TbCu 7 structure. TEM observation indicates that the average grain size of the magnet is 35nm. Magnetic measurement shows that the remanence is 0.49T and the coercivity of the magnet reaches as high as 1.42 T at room temperature. The ratio of Mr/Ms is 0.63, which demonstrates the existence of intergrain exchange coupling among the nanograins.
