The　paper　analyzed　the　main　problems　of　freeway　intelligence　transportation　development　in　Beijing,　and　brought　out　the　freeway　intelligent　transportation　system　(FITS)　planning　methods.　Based　on　the　demand　anlysis,　research　proposed　the　constitution　and　construction　architecture　of　Beijing　freeway　intelligence　transportation　system　(FITS)　in　short-term　period　and　long-term　period.　The　study　will　provide　important　theorical　support　and　basis　for　the　Beijing　freeway　intellectualized　construction　and　information　development　in　future　years.
