Abstract:

The structural characteristics, synthesized methods and application status of the layered Birnessite-type manganese oxides are introduced in this article. The advantages and disadvantages of the synthesized methods for layered manganese oxide are highlighted. The developing trend of layered-type manganese oxide is prospected as well.
