Abstract:

Steel reinforced concrete shear wall is a new kind of shear walls, which has better flexure, bearing capacity and ductility than usual shear walls. Some achievements have been briefly introduced about recent research of steel reinforced concrete shear walls. Based upon these studies, the experimental study on the seismic performance of high-rise shear walls with concealed steel truss of high axial-load ratio has been done. The experimental results show that the setting of concealed steel truss can obviously improve the seismic performance of high-rise steel reinforced concrete shear wall of high axial-load ratio compared with the usual ones.
