Abstract:
ANSYS is powerful finite element analysis software. Using Matrix27 element in ANSYS, a fundamental procedure based on APDL programming technique to solve the problem of half rigidity of joints is presented. Then the model of a steel structural lattice shell is established. The forgoing program for adjusting joint rigidity is applied, and the curve relation between joint stiffness and eigenvalue is presented. The influence of joint stiffness on structural stability is studied emphatically. Finally, some useful conclusions are obtained, which can be referred in the design of such kind of grid shells.
