Abstract：

Based　on　the　latest　revision　of　the　seismic　isolation　codes　of　the　major　seismic　countries　such　as　China,　the　Unite　States,　Japan,　and　the　European　countries,　the　design　criteria,　the　product　standard　and　maintenance　criterion　of　base　isolation　in　building　structures　are　compared　in　this　paper.　Then,　some　research　issues　and　the　main　trend　of　base　isolation　standardization　in　the　building　structures　are　indicated.
