Abstract:
In order to investigate the flexural behavior of recycled aggregate concrete composite slab, the repeated load tests of recycled coarse aggregate concrete and normal concrete composite slabs with closed-section steel deck were carried out. Based on the tests, the flexural behavior of recycled coarse aggregate concrete composite slabs with different constructional measures and thickness was analyzed and compared with that of normal concrete composite slabs. The methods of calculating ultimate moment and deflection of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete composite slab with closed-section steel deck were advised. The results show that, compared to normal concrete composite slab, the recycled coarse aggregate concrete composite slab has slightly smaller flexural load-bearing capacity and stiffness. So, it can be applied in actual engineering structures through reasonable designing. Adding reinforcement truss into the recycled aggregate concrete can obviously increase the flexural performance of composite slab.
