Abstract:

In order to find the relationship between the tensile strength of cement paste and its 3D structure of fracture surface, the cement paste samples with different proportionings were made, and their tensile strengths were tested. Also the fracture surfaces' constructional feature of the tested specimens was observed by 3D surface measurement instrument. Through the analyses of the relationship between the tensile strength and the fracture surfaces areas, an appropriate fitting function was proposed.
